NewWave Custom Conversions was founded in June 2010 and created through a keen interest in leisure vehicles, at the time offering a service fully recognising the demands that are expected specifically from a converted Volkswagen Transporter (T5). Initially the company started on a small scale with only two staff members in a relatively small workshop. Having limited overheads at the time the original NWCC team were able to develop the initial interior conversions trialling and adjusting a number of different concepts and build specifications.
In a short space of time we have grown significantly; Today we have a dedicated and passionate eight member team who are perfectionists when it comes to converting the VW. Now offering conversions within the T5, T6,T6.1. We aim to establish a solid professional relationship with all of our clients regardless of expenditure. Our main aim is to develop with our clients a unique VW interior conversion; In our designs we always want to show the individual character of the owner and their vehicle, far beyond the offer of the manufacturer.

Now operating from a large dedicated specifically designed workshop, situated just minutes away from J35 of the M4 Motorway. Our Workshop consists of over 5500 Square foot of floor space. With dedicated skilled sectors & departments, ‘Upholstery & Trimming‘, ‘Joinery & CNC‘, well stocked stores all individually sectioned & extracted to guarantee a dust free environment and efficient work method.
You will be welcomed & Invited into our modern waiting room and have use of our Tea & Coffee and WC facilities.

Building a custom project can be very time consuming and stressful, therefore we combine our skills and knowledge with industry leaders in other sectors such as paint & body specialists. All of our conversion works are carried out in-house, from Upholstery to Carpentry and Electrics. We only work using the leading tooling brands e.g. Festool & Snap-on. Ensuring the use of recognised leading brand materials eg. Smev, Waeco, VW Sportline, Eibach, BBS, Thule, Fiamma, SCA and RIB. All of the popular conversion additions are genuine VW parts or recognised after market brands and accessorises e.g. Lowering kits, Alloy wheels, Spoilers, Bike racks, Windows, etc…
A Passionate & Dedicated Team
Once your VW begins the conversion process, you will be updated weekly with emails & images, even video call if required all to enable you to view your vehicle as it under goes the several stages of its conversion. As we specialise specifically in the conversion of the VW T5, T6, T6.1, We know every detail of these vehicles and can guarantee you peace of mind and the quality you deserve throughout the build process. All of our designs and layouts have been developed over a number of years, with continual assessment and modification to allow you the most usability from your vehicle.
New Wave Custom Conversions are fully recognised by all insurance companies for the VW Conversions that we complete. A detailed Invoice and Certificate of the works completed is supplied to all our clients as proof of conversion and costs. (The DVLA will ask for proof of conversion to complete any log book change over). This can make a huge difference to the premium you pay, as well as the number of insurers that will cover you for the true value of your converted vehicle.

Let the NWCC specialist team work with you and make your dream vehicle fully functional, practical and become reality. Team NWCC operates a closed workshop. Once booked on to our build schedule we will allocate a consultation slot with us 1 month prior to your build date. To enable us to devote our time to you offering a full factory tour where you can meet the team, and have an in-depth insight into how we operate and manage our builds viewing the whole process from the initial design stages to viewing the finished product on site. Any designs, drawings, spec sheets or even rough sketches are welcome the more information you provide us the more we can brain storm and create your dream interior, You will then finish up in the consultation room where we have 100’s finishes to decide upon.
The options list is endless and anything is possible but the more information you provide our team the closer we get to perfecting every single element of you’re one off custom build. We will provide as much direction and information possible; , we do advice a lengthy sit down with us to gather as much information as possible from the hardware details to the prices etc… Also discussing samples to guarantee a complete personal touch to your unique conversion.
Here at NWCC we have invested massively into upgrading our capabilities in design and manufacturing.
