Vehicle preparation is one of the most important aspects ahead of any conversion works carried out on any vehicle. Here at NWCC we have strict procedures set in place to follow which we have set over the years after gaining our experience within the industry.
Vehicle preparation:
Every vehicle undergoing a conversion in house has to undergo certain procedures to protect all entry points and crevasses, e.g. Heater Vents, Door Jams and any other small areas where dust could collect. The entire vehicle will be protected using three materials, masking tape, protection masking paper and dust protection body cover plastic sheeting.
90% of the vehicles worked on in house here at NWCC are brand new and we guarantee your vehicle will leave our workshop cleaner than from the VW dealership itself.
The Final Stages Before Collection
A Eighty Six item check list has to be completed to ensure that every aspect of every detail has been tested, cleaned and the vehicle is ready for the owner to collect. After all of the checks have been carried out the vehicle has a final detail and cleaning commences; Every vehicle will have a deep clean before the vehicle enters the NWCC workshop so the final clean is a lot easier. The NWCC team use a combination of products externally consisting of an Autoglym snow foam, Autoglym fast shine detailing spray and Autoglym tyre dressing. Internally the vehicle has a full vacuum and is finished with the use of Autoglym’s fantastic detailing range.
The vehicle is then ready for its photography; These images are used widely across social media and throughout the NWCC website.
Ahead of collection the vehicle is wrapped in our custom made fleece lined VW fitted covers ready for the unveiling in front of the proud owners.
