Although the caddy is a small compact vehicle, they make great day to day vehicles with they’re SWB chassis they provide a sporty drive for those looking for a compact day to day vehicle which offers more boot space for the essential sporting and lifestyle equipment.
The first job on this caddy was a full strip down which included removing the restrictive Bulkhead and replacing with the Caddy Maxi B pillar trims. Moving on to the task of killing that hollow road noise from the load space, applying market leading products from SKINZ and DODO.
I hear the term carpet lining so often in our industry, but I want to make myself very clear we do not use carpet in any of our vehicle conversions, we use a product imported from the U.S called trunk-liner. Trunk-liner is designed to cope with a higher wear factor, with a shorter, tighter pile our product is designed to withstand day to day use for years to come.
This conversion was finished up with a factory rubber floor from VW and the headliner finished in a OEM Fabric to co-inside with the cab headliner, we’ve integrated LED spot lights to illuminate the load space when loading the essentials.
