Mr W’s Exterior conversion
Another one of our returning Scottish clients returning for some cool exterior upgrades making way for the adventure van accessories, providing that all-terrain look people are leaning towards in 2020-2021.
Mr W has been a long term NWCC client originally having his vehicle converted back in 2018 with a full custom Caravelle interior, Reimo roof, Recaro front seats, 20″ Alloy wheels, Bilstein Coil-overs and Brembo brakes.
This visit consisted of stripping off the Brembo brakes, 20″ Alloy wheels and rear spoiler to make way for a more user-friendly adventure van, starting with the Bilstein 35mm Lift Kit combined with the very aggressive looking Black Rhino Unit 17″ wheels wrapped in BFG tyres.
The rear spoiler was removed to make way for the Thule bike rack which had to been stripped down and sent off for an all-black powder coat finish, again to help achieve the look Mr W now loved.
The Wheel arch extensions are a neat accessory from VW adding a little width and protection to the vehicles body work. Some may say the next upgrade was a little backwards, but the customer is always right, Mr W wanted to remove his elegant colour coded Highline bumpers and install the textured black Startline bumpers colour coded the front wash wipes and parking sensors to now tie in the black plastics of the vehicle.
We love this new look here at NWCC and we hope Mr W does, this vehicle has done a full circle from lowered suspension and skinny tyres to lifted suspension and chunky BFG 225/65 tyres. One thing I will say is this vehicle is now a absolute pleasure to drive and can be parked anywhere.
Now Ready for those 4×4 Family adventures.
