The Caddy-Maxi (LWB) panel van was the perfect vehicle for the Cliffords’; With only ever having the need to transport two persons the cargo area was needed to house some potential Crufts winners! Wanting to ensure that the vehicle was as comfortable to drive as any day-to-day car the first thing that team NWCC started with was a full strip down and a huge injection of SKINZ sound kill from the masters at Four-Audio, Skinz has been applied to all corners of this build to kill that road noise.

Once the SKINZ had been applied in went the 10mm thermo liner and birch ply panelling which was then finished with an acoustic trunk liner, including removable panelling for future works and maintenance. Replacement Caddy B-pillars have been fitted as the original bulkhead was deleted, a slatted headliner in the popular Alcantara finish and a Chroma Elan Altro Transfloor aid with bouncing the light around in the windowless rear cargo area.

Wanting to get all of the latest gadgets to aid with every day driving team NWCC have installed the 2018 Launched Kenwood DNX518VDABS 7.0” AV navigation system with smartphone control, bluetooth & DAB+ radio. The brand new DRV-N520 drive recorder dashCam and CMOS-130 rear view camera ensure that nothing goes unnoticed. A few practical electrical upgrades fitted internally with USB charge points, 12v power points, and LED crisp white lighting overhead. The build now showcases a neat and practical layout within the van making it ready for every day use.
