THE DYMOND’S SPORTS MULTIPURPOSE CONVERSION

THE DYMOND’S SPORTS MULTIPURPOSE CONVERSION

Some might say buying a brand new high spec kombi to dedicate to you’re selected sport is a little crazy “The ultimate accessory” well yes, Our customers are a little crazy but in the same way they know exactly what they want and how its going to be used. Here at NWCC we are dedicated to delivering a product designed by the customer to work with there chosen sport, This build being designed and built specifically for mountain biking.

Mr Dymond originally contacted NWCC a few months back with his ideas, sketches and detailed description about the look he wanted to achieve to his vehicle, he was then placed on to our long waiting list of clients to secure his build slot ensuring that his van would be built on time for his scheduled completion date. Team NWCC worked closely with The Dymond family as the coming weeks flew past us and the build date getting closer and closer, Important decisions were made, dimensions, options, upgrades, colours, fabrics, leathers, etc etc etc .

Mr Dymond wanted to keep this van very subtle and understated both internally and externally, Mr Dymond selected colours that delivered a OEM factory feel, Nappa smooth black leather/Alcantara seating with a contrasting Grey top-stitch and a OEM fabric rear headliner to tie in neatly with the cab.
Altro Trans-floor delivering a hard-wearing surface for those muddy feet, The Dometic CD30 fridge keeping those refreshments cool and the on board Solar Sargent and CTEK Combination unit ensuring those under chassis batteries are kept continuously topped up for those weekend events.

The rear load compartment designed by Mr Dymond to the “mm” allowing for his specific needs, Finished in the very versatile and hard-wearing fully waterproof “RAPTOR line X” the future of boot and load liners.

Look closely and you will see some neat features ie; The baby bunk situated neatly behind the RIB Seat offers a comfortable elevated sleeping platform which can be completely folded away in matter of minutes, Under RIB storage drawers and compartments, Extra lighting to the tailgate over head panel and boot space along side a heavy duty 12v Socket, First row swivels allowing for the space to be opened up and used as a family sitting area complete with ITC sliding door table.

Externally Mr Dymond again decided to keep a very subtle theme running with a Eibach VW approved 30mm lowering spring set up combined with the 18″ BBS SX Crystal Black combined with a Accelera tyre package.

We hope you mountain bike addicts like this conversion and we look forward to hearing The Dymond’s feedback and photos of the van in use.
