The Grant’s VWT6 Traditional ‘Lux’ Camper Conversion

The Grant’s VWT6 Traditional ‘Lux’ Camper Conversion

The Grant’s contacted NWCC back in 2016 to discuss their ideal conversion specification, based in Fife (Scotland) this was going to be the beginning of a great long distance client relationship. We in fact didn’t meet Mr Grant util the day he collected his converted VWT6. Initially team NWCC assisted with the base vehicle purchase, ordering the required base vehicle ahead of the scheduled build. With a few months to finalise the conversion speciation this gave the Grant’s time to consider the exact specification required.

The Volkswagen Transporter (T32) Kombi Highline (SWB) Euro6 204ps 2.0TDI BMT DSG, was delivered to NWCC on February 3rd. Having had the opportunity to complete all of the possible preparation works in house in the weeks leading up to the scheduled conversion, this build was completed within 10 working days. Mr Grant drove away back to Fife on Monday 20th February one happy camper!

Six weeks prior to any scheduled conversion we ask for confirmation of the exact specification of the build, this includes the accessories, hardware and choice of materials. This allows team NWCC to prepare as much of the build ahead of the vehicle arriving in house. Depending on the workshop schedule it can allow the opportunity to complete interior cabinetry, leather upholstery works and electrical prep. This all aids in the vehicle being in house for as little time as possible.
