The Gwynn’s VWT6 Traditional ‘Lux’ Camper Conversion

The Gwynn’s VWT6 Traditional ‘Lux’ Camper Conversion

Team NWCC always gets a little bit excited when we have a different coloured vehicle in house for conversion. On a weekly basis we see the very popular White, Black and Grey coloured vehicles, here we have a VW Bamboo Green VWT6 which looked suburb once converted with the external additions that were requested by the client.

Every build is finalised and dictated by the client specific requirements, yet each layout is set as per the type of build, only allowing customisation via material choice and additional accessories. With a Bamboo Green exterior the Gwynn’s picked up on the black detailing externally opting for a set of BBS 18” XA Split Spoke Satin Black with Polished face Alloy Wheels, which coincide with the Eibach 30mm Lowering Springs. The build had multiple external accessories added to enhance the overall camping experience, from a Fiamma F45s (SWB) Deep Black Awning, Thule Rapid System (962) Saturn Black Wing bars and a Westfalia Swan Neck Removable Towbar.

There are subtle ways to enhance any exterior be it for vanity and aesthetics or practically, working your way around the vehicle you have changes to the front which include a VWT6 Caravelle Front Grille, VWT6 Front Bumper Lower Grille Streamers – (3 Piece) Chrome, to the sides VWT6 Front & Rear Mud Flaps and VW Black Bolt But Cap Covers, to the rear a VWT6 Rear Bumper Protector.

Internally this build is a luxurious example of NWCC’s Traditional Lux Conversion. To ensure maximum internal storage within the conversion, under chassis products have been included with the location of a underbody water tank, under chassis leisure batteries and an under chassis LPG Gas tank. Both water and gas fill points are neatly located under the rear bumper, with an additional BBQ fill point at client request. The latest modification to an NWCC conversion, again to maximise on storage we have incorporated the table storage within the near side loading door, this also allows easy access when sat within your vehicle.

To ensure that the external colouring of the vehicle is reflected internally a green cotton stitch has been incorporated within the 1st and 2nd row seating upholstery as well as within the Cross Stitch upgrade to Steering Wheel and Gear Gaiter. This build ticked multiple upgrade boxes with us here at NWCC, with a full audio upgrade including Audison AP8 & AP1 Prima Front Speakers &a,p; Tweeters, Audison APX Prima 100mm Rear Speakers, and an Audison AP4D Prima 4-Channel Amplifier.

Practical upgrades have been completed with the installation of a Eberspächer Airtronic Air heating System with Easy-Start (801) Control and Elevating Roof 150w Semi-Flexible Solar Panel Package. Team NWCC will always advise you of recommend extras however the final specification of the build is ultimately left to you.
