The LUKE1977 Show-Van

For 2016 Team NWCC have teamed up with LUKE1977 to complete their Show-Van. With managing Director Simon of Luke Roper LTD, keen to have both a show-van for the company & a family vehicle for personal travels it was down to team NWCC to complete a suitable style of build for him.
Internally the chosen build was NWCC’s VW Sports Multipurpose Conversion; With the build specification set, it was all client preference regarding the additional modifications made to the vehicle. The addition of the SCA 194 Deluxe elevating roof adds much needed headroom for day to day Living/Camping within the vehicle, as well as extra space for sleeping; Transforming the T5 into a far more practical 4 berth van making the vehicle seem a lot more spacious.
With the original spec vehicle having two captain seats within the 1st Row, it was more practical for this family to have a 6 person carrier. Therefore the single passenger chair was exchanged to install a twin passenger double seat. Adding swivel bases to the 1st row seating proves beneficial every time, completing a versatile seating arrangement. Enabling the front cab space to be utilised as apart of the rear conversion; Weather it is for Relaxing or Dining.
So that this vehicle can be used all year round extending the camping and outdoor season for as wanted. Wherever in the world and whatever the weather, the Eberspächer heater has been installed to keep the passenger compartment of the VW T5 Conversion cosy & warm.
At client request this vehicle also has an under chassis 30L water tank & external shower point; This is to provide ease of washing at those summer festivals, or at a sandy beach for the suffers. To aid with staying away from the commercial Campsites and enjoying your own little peace of tranquility, a solar panel upgrade was the answer for these guys. Solar powered battery charging enables the use of lighting, refrigeration, laptops and entertainment equipment miles away from the nearest mains connection; For many motorhome owners, true freedom is not being ‘tied’ to a power cable.
As this vehicle is a ‘Show-Van’ for Luke1977 clothing, it was felt appropriate to include the company logo within the upholstery scheme. As well as opting for a burgundy Auto-Calf leather upholstery and contrasting cotton stitch to coincide with the company colour scheme.
