The MWB MAN

The MWB MAN

This very compact design was designed along side our customer Mr T who wanted to provide sleeping and safe travel for four.

Team NWCC had its work cut out here trying to design a compact design, Which could house the RIB 860cm for safe passenger travel. A small space for toilet use if needed.  And all the expected hardware within our conversions.

At the rear of the conversion Mr T wanted a space for all the kids gear, wetsuits, bikes, scooters etc…
NWCC got to work on designing a garage area to perform as a loading space for all the camping and sporting equipment.

We were lucky in this van where the clients wanted to sleep across the van and not down the van enabling us to utilise the space saving ideas a lot more efficiently.
Mr T and his family spent a long time during the consultation selecting colours and textiles which we personally feel were chosen very well as this interior provides a light and airy space even though the vehicles has so much packed into it.

Now the 860cm RIB. How it works. The RIB offers two slide actions which enables the seat to move in a front to back motion and side slide motion.
Simply swivel the drivers seat, drop the RIB and slide out side ways to the kitchen galley then place the filler cushions (which are stored in garage area) between the off side wall and RIB providing a 1.8M x 1.1M bed.

We are suited to these custom builds as a team making good use of our machinery, design software and CAD Vehicle models.
We spend time with our clients producing renders, Which brings the vehicle to life before the manufacturing process takes place.
Mr T spent the time to make several visits to the workshop to help assist with any detailed decisions enabling NWCC to design this vehicle to the very last detail for him.
Exterior on this this MAN was very simple. A set of Black Rhino 17” alloys with a branded winter tyre, Fiamma awning with integrated LED lighting, Dometic roof window and a 200 watt solar panel enabling the Clayton power supply to stay topped up.

There are a lot of hidden gems in this vehicle, Which cannot be seen at first glance.
The Clayton power supply offering 240v power on demand, full-length hanging wardrobe space, a private area for Mrs T to use the Thetford 365 toilet behind the curtain area.
The vehicle houses under chassis LPG supply, the Truma 6D Diesel heating and hot water supply, the Dometic 65L fridge freezer, Dometic 9722 Hob/sink combination unit fed by a 80L under chassis fresh water tank, multiple lighting circuits to create mood lighting at different times of the day/evening.
Plenty of overhead storage, deep draws, sliding furniture doors to enable easy access in this very snug interior.
Exterior hot shower supply, exterior BBQ point, even twin USB exterior charge supply.

We hope you like this build it as we have invested a lot of time and thought into this conversion and would like to build more of the same now all the hard work has been done and the development can now evolve from here.

Thank you Mr and Mrs T for choosing NWCC, and we look forward to seeing you again.
