The Pinches’ VWT5 Day Van Conversion

The Pinches’ VWT5 Day Van Conversion

Having wanted to convert their VW T5 Transporter for a while, the Pinches’ knew exactly what they wanted both internally and externally to ensure that the vehicle was aesthetically pleasing and practical. The internal conversion was based on NWCC’s Sports Multipurpose conversion, removing elements that weren’t required by the family.

The ex working van has had a complete overhaul, originally arriving in house a simple highline spec panel van. Internally the bulkhead has been removed, with the original double passenger bench replaced with a single comfort seat. Both Driver & Passenger seating now swivelling to complete a versatile seating arrangement.

This is another build having left NWCC proving that you don’t have to invest highly in the material spec internally. A simple OEM VW fabric upholstery upgrade to the RIB to coincide with the first row seating. A practical vinyl slatted rear headlining and wipe down Altro transfloor. All options chosen bounce the light around the interior the complete opposite to the stealth exterior look.

A deep black pearl metallic exterior colouring allows for a complete contrast with chrome / stainless steel external accessories. Up front this vehicle was enhanced with the addition of a VW T5 Sportline Front Spoiler, VW T5 Caravelle Front Grille and VW Front Bumper lower Grille Streamer. Working your way around the vehicle the addition of Eibach 30mm Lowering Springs, VW T6 Sportline 18” (Black) Alloy Wheels, VW T5 (SWB) Stainless Steel Side Bars, VW Wind Deflectors, and VW Front & Rear Mud Flaps. Completing the external additions to the rear a VW Bumper protector and VW T5 Tailgate Bike Rack. Then just to finalise the build a ECU Re-Map.
