The Weaver family took full advantage of this using NWCC’s years of gained knowledge and experience to help with the ordering process of their ideal vehicle, avoiding having to search through hundreds of options available from VW when placing a factory order. Mr Weaver with the help and guidance from us here at NWCC opted for a factory VW T6 (204 BHP) Highline Kombi with a long list of extras to suit the families needs. The base vehicle arrived in from VW a few weeks ahead of the scheduled build, so it meant that the Larkins could transport the vehicle across to their home in Ireland from a few weeks of enjoyment before transporting it back to NWCC for the scheduled 4 week build, which begun with a huge external and internal strip down making way for the chosen after market upgrades and modifications.

Mr Weavers opted to remove the standard commercial VW Kombi seating and upgrade to the Caravelle interior package complete with triple rear seat, 2nd row swivelling comfort seats and first row Recaro CS seats with full swivel function. The conversion incorporates the Reimo VTEC elevating open sky canvas roof and full wrap around privacy glass not to mention a few home from home comforts with its complete auxiliary system with two under chassis batteries providing power to the 12v system as well as a solar energy package, CTEK battery to battery charging, USB power points, VW’s very own factory fit cooler box which mounts neatly in to the caravelle rails, LED dimmable strip lighting and curtains to every window ensuring extra privacy.

Here at NWCC we are renown for combining market leading brands with NWCCs versatility to design and manufacture ways of integrating these products within our builds. The list of products and upgrades within this build becomes endless with parts supplied from Recaro, Brembo, EBC, Alcantara, Gtecnique, Eberspacher, Thule, Four, Skinz, Audison, AP, Bilstein, H&R, Reimo, VW, ABT, the list could go on for quite some time.

Its has been a pleasure combining all of these well respected industry brands within one build; Audison delivering its outstanding sound quality, Bilstein providing its amazing comfort and road recognition time and time again, Recaro providing comfort and support with the world wide renown CS draped in Napa smooth leather and Alcantara detailing courtesy of the NWCC trim shop. H&R deleting all that van like body roll with its anti-roll bar package, Gtecnique providing that everlasting shine and protection inside and out, Thule helping to yet again utilise that roof space with its most aerodynamic wing bars, Eberspacher making this an all year round overnight vehicle pumping out plenty of heat, and last but not least the DSG flat bottom steering wheel complete with fully functioning F1 paddle shift.

NWCC’s Photographer Phil had his work cut out with this build, with so many small integrated details on this vehicle from the gloss black detailing throughout the vehicle, ABT stealth grill, Audi RS red big brake kit, de-bossing to the 1st row seating with contrasting a red top stitch incorporated throughout all three rows of seats.
